In 1998, 4 acres of land was leased on a 40 year lease from the city of Torrance and 56,000 sq ft of aviation hangars were constructed. Upon completion, all of the hangars were rented out to aircraft owners and the investment was managed for approximately 10 years before selling in 2008. The project was built in 2 phases and included an underground fuel tank and self serve aviation fuel terminal.
